Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toniz Collins is also referred to as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins within the United States and Mexico, is an American Mexican sportscaster. She's an ESPN news anchor and hosts SportsNation occasionally. In 2016, she was a part of ESPN. She's the daughter of TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins has been bilingual since the age of nine years old. It was a helpful talent that enabled her to get her first job working as an assistant to the producer at Univision in Miami that provided her with the opportunity to be a part of the production team for National programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. After this, her CBS subsidiary of St. Petersburg employed her as a reporter for sports. The family in 1992 left Mexico and moved to Miami. Her parents divorced soon after and, in 1995, she was married an naval designer by the name of Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away in 2006 from kidney cancer. On a family vacation in Ohio, the young Collins took a place alongside her elder sister. Antonietta was an incoming senior in high school and had a very clear vision of her career goals. She visited Mount Union University in order to determine if they suited her. It turned out that she was a fan of the university and they were offering the kind of program she was searching for. She graduated from high school and enrolled into media school at the University. Mark Bergmann was her professor and also the head of WRMU in which she is a member. They had a very close friendship. He encouraged her to believe in herself and also his love in journalism was a huge influence on her, and she in turn, strived to fulfill the expectations of him and not failed him.
